Award to Kent Air Ambulance

The Kent Air Ambulance charity has been honoured for the support it gives its volunteers.

An Investing in Volunteers Standard has been given to the Marden-based charity, after it demonstrated it met 10 different areas of good practice.

Its volunteers regularly attend events and give talks as well as help fund raise.

The award was also given to the Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance services, making the three charities the first helicopter emergency medical services to get the award.
