The CCTV image of the man police wish to question

POLICE searching for a thief dubbed the Milk Tray Man have released a CCTV picture of a man they believe could help with inquiries.

The so-called Milk Tray Man is believed to be responsible for three separate thefts from Co-op stores in Sheerness.

The first incident took place on Saturday, October 19, when a man dressed in dark clothing stole a box of Cadbury's Milk Tray and a box of Galaxy Silk from the shop in Queens Road, Minster.

Two weeks later, the thief is believed to have struck again at the Co-op in Main Road, Queenborough. Three boxes of Terrys chocolates were stolen shortly before 5.30pm on November 1.
