Appeal after alleyway attack on girl

POLICE are appealing for information after an assault, which appears to be sexually motivated, on a girl of 14.

The girl was walking along an alleyway off Forest Hill in Tovil, near Maidstone, when she was approached by a man who tried to grab her. She managed to run away and suffered only minor injuries.

The offender is described as being of mixed race and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a black hooded top and black Adidas tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes down the sides.

The incident occurred at around 8.30am on Friday September 30. Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw a man matching the description in the area at the time.
