Appeal for witnesses after fatal crash

WITNESSES to a fatal collision in Bexleyheath last Thursday are being asked to come forward by police.

Mark Hammond, 39, from Lincolnshire, died after colliding with a silver Vauxhall Astra in Normanhurst Avenue, at the junction with Brampton Road on September 27 at about 8.45pm.

A post-mortem was due to be held at Princess Royal University hospital in Orpington, today.

His next of kin have been informed and an inquest into his death was opened and adjourned at Croydon Coroner's Court.
