DR ROWAN Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, was the guest of honour at a special school assembly.

He was invited to Bridge and Patrixbourne Primary, near Canterbury, to listen to a talk on the work of Health for All, a charity set up by Bridge GP Mark Jones to help people in India and Ethiopia.

The charity is a community project which involves parents, teachers and school staff from Bridge and the surrounding area plus schools in Canterbury. Dr Williams is its patron.

Dr Williams told the pupils: “I am really proud of all you."
