TERRIFIED staff at a village post office were robbed at gunpoint on Monday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man entered Hartley Post Office, in Hartley near Gravesend, at about 10.20am, armed with a gun.

He demanded cash and after failing to get into the safe, he emptied the cash till and fled.
