A BOY died after being hit by a car after stepping off a bus.

A 16-year-old was hit by a car as he walked round the front of the bus at Elmstead Lane at the junction with Walden Road, Bromley.

Despite officers performing first aid, he died at the scene. His father witnessed the collision.

The driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

South East Traffic Collision Investigation Unit are dealing with the incident.
