The Central Criminal Court, London

Twelve people have been arrested and six taken to hospital after a massive fight broke out at a Butlin's holiday park.

It's believed the huge row erupted after a group was thrown out of a nightclub at the camp in Bognor Regis in Sussex.

Now 11 men from Gravesend and another whose address wasn't given have all been bailed until later this month on suspicion of a range of GBH and violent disorder offences.

All are aged between 25 and 37 years old.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the assaults at just after midnight on Saturday.

Chief Inspector Jane Derrick, District Commander for Arun District, said: "We believe a fight broke out after a group of people, who were at the resort together, were ejected from a nightclub on the site.

"As a result, six people were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries. Four of these people were staff at the resort. The other two people were a member of the group who were also arrested.

"We are still trying to piece together exactly what happened and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the fight."

A Sussex man in his 50s is still in hospital in a stable condition under observation. Other injuries include face wounds and one man was injured in the chest.

All the suspects have been bailed until November 23 to November 24.
