Art project aims to be the ‘toast of Kent’.

It’s on of the most iconic symbols of Kent - a traditional oast house.

But you won’t have seen one quite like this before.

A food artist has recreated some of Britain’s best loved landmarks using one key material – toast.

Dermot Flynn’s collection of bread sculptures marks the launch of a new advertising campaign by Warburtons that sees a businessman visiting Britain for the first time.

The gallery of toasted landscapes includes the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Blackpool Tower, the Eden Project in Cornwall, the Angel of the North, the London Eye, and the Humber Bridge.

The oast house, representing Kent’s countryside - has been created with slices of bread and chocolate spread.

A Warburtons spokesperson added: “We were spoilt for choice when it came to choosing the best landmarks as the UK is awash with stunning architecture and iconic landscapes.”

The Warburtons’ advert starring the t-oast house will air tonight on ITV.
