Almost 400 people voted online and by text for their favourite images in the competition to find a picture that best summed up the phrase 'Ashford Best Placed in Britain'.

The three winners are:

18 & over: This Way Forward.... by Duncan Callow, 43 from Ruckinge.

12 to 17: Rebirth and new beginning by Nikole Love, 13, from Ashford.

Under 12: The Best Place for Peaceful Countryside by Finn Callow, 7, from Ruckinge.

The three winners will receive a set of Eurostar tickets to either Paris or Brussels, plus other prizes.

All entries will be included in a professionally-bound photo book about the competition and may be used in future marketing and promotional material for Ashford's Future and Ashford Borough Council.

A final exhibition for the competition will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 9am to 5pm at County Square Shopping Centre.
