From the director of the hit film Ashford Ring Road - the Movie, comes a sequel: A28.

Adam Colton, an author and poet, has branched out into the world of cinema and, inspired by the success of his ring road opus, has released a video shot in 1998 showing the whole length of the A28 from Hastings to Margate, via Tenterden, Ashford and Canterbury.

He said: "I drove all the way to Margate from Hastings in around 1998. I thought it was minority interest but time has moved on and it has become a bit of nostalgia.

"It started with the ring road film and went from there. I had just learned to drive at the time and I had also just got a video camera and put the two together. I edited it with a bit of music too.

"It was a lot quieter in those days and you notice how much busier it has got in 10 years."

Mr Colton, a minibus driver, reckons there was also much more space, thanks to the lack of development along most of the route.

His other works include the lighthouse book England and Wales in a Flash and Mud Sweat and Beers.

Anyone interested in purchasing a copy of the film at £5 should email Mr Colton on Hamcopublishing@aol.com or ring him on 01233 733056.
