Andy Hessenthaler saluted his side’s performance after they earned a point at Port Vale.

The display wasn’t enough to end the long wait for an away win, but it was a massive improvement from the previous trip out of Kent, where they shipped seven against Accrington.

Hessenthaler (pictured) pointed to impressive performances across the team and felt they were deserving of more than a point.
