Gillingham manager Mark Stimson saluted his team’s performance after they stunned promotion-chasing Leeds at Priestfield on Saturday.

The Gills were 3-0 up after 33 minutes but had to defend well to preserve their lead against League 1’s second placed team.

Stimson picked out his two central defenders, Mark Bentley and Darren Dennehy, for special praise as they withstood some heavy pressure late on.
