Fans set to soak up the sun for World Cup England match

Temperatures are set to soar ahead of another crucial England World Cup match tonight.

As the home side take on Belgium in Kalingrad City in Russia, temperatures could hit 22C in the stadium at the start of the game.

But fans heading to the pub over here could also be sweltering from the 7pm kick-off, as the heatwave continues across kent.

Will fortune shine on England tonight?

Met Office experts predict another warm dry day with plenty of sunshine, and a maximum temperature of 28C.

As the match gets under way tonight we can expect wall to wall sunshine - so at least we can enjoy the weather whatever the result.

But today is not the end of the fantastic weather.

Tomorrow sees another hot day, with the thermometer set to hit a maximum 28C again.

And it's barbecue time for the weekend, with plenty of sunshine and perhaps a touch more humid than in recent days.
