KENT Police are keen to trace a woman doctor who helped at the scene of a fatal road crash.

A motorcyclist, Richard Zimmerling, was involved in a collision with a van at Stick Hill, near Hartfield Road, Edenbridge, on November 1. He was taken to hospital by air ambulance but later died from his injuries.

The woman doctor who was driving past the scene of the crash stopped and assisted Mr Zimmerling until an emergency medical team arrived.

Family liaison officer, PC Richard Wilson, said: "We have been asked to trace the doctor by Mr Zimmerling’s family who wish to pass on their thanks.
