A LARGE entry should provide some spectacular racing when the new South East point-to-point season gets underway at Charing on Sunday with the Mid Surrey Farmers' Draghounds meeting (noon start).

The Maiden Race has, as expected, been divided three ways with 55 entries. It will give an eight race card. Many of the top jockeys will be in action, including last year's men's and ladies' area champions, Chris Gordon and Julie Wickens.
