A MOTORCYCLIST who died in a road accident on the A257 at Wingham, near Canterbury, on Wednesday, July 4, has been named by Kent Police.

He was 41-year-old Steven Godden, who came from Mark Avenue at Ramsgate.

He was confirmed dead at the scene outside Wingham Bird Park by paramedics following a collision which involved two cars and two motorcycles.

An inquest has been opened into his death and adjourned for further inquiries.
