Biker killed in Spain collided with two other vehicles

A MOTORCYCLIST from Kent died in Spain after losing control on a bend, an inquest has heard.

David Blackburn, 40, of Twydall Green, Gillingham, died in Ronda, Malaga, Spain, on February 28, 2006.

According to witnesses Mr Blackburn's bike collided with the car in front. He then collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

Mr Blackburn had been travelling with a friend who had stopped for coffee but he had decided to keep going.

Coroner Roger Sykes explained to the court that because David had died abroad his job was to record the fact that he was satisfied that his death was the result of multiple injuries due to a road traffic crash. Cause of death: Multiple injuries.
