Firefighters used breathing apparatus when they dealt with a blaze in a beauty salon therapy room.

Crews from Marden and Headcorn took about 20 minutes to put out the fire at Beautique Nail and Beauty Salon in Staplehurst High Street on Sunday.

Police attended to deal with traffic and electrical engineers were called to carry out safety checks.
