Police have found a body believed to be that of missing 88-year-old Maidstone man Ronald Mosney.

The body was found by officers searching Mote Park in the town at around 10.20am Wednesday.

Homeless Mr Mosney was reported missing on Tuesday after not being seen since Saturday evening.

A police spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
