HUMAN remains discovered in woods in Abbey Wood have been identified as those of 51-year-old Michael Neil from Charlton.

Police say Mr Neil went missing about two years ago. His next of kin have been informed.

The death is being treated as unexplained. An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
