Gillingham will be forced into a defensive reshuffle against Leyton Orient on Saturday after Matt Lawrence picked up his fifth booking of the season at the weekend.

It means the 37-year-old defender must serve a one-match suspension.

The Gills could also be without defender Garry Richards for their FA Cup tie with Leyton Orient after he ended up needing treatment following the 0-0 draw with Bradford.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler said: "Garry Richards has picked up a bit of a knock and it is a bit of a concern but we will be okay."

Defender Simon King has yet to make an appearance this season and could be recalled after missing the cut on Saturday.
