Traffic

A boy's wrist was injured when a driver ran a red light, hit him then drove off.

The 13-year-old was knocked off his bike at traffic lights at around 6.20pm on August 11.

He suffered a dislocated wrist, which had to be "popped" back into place.

Now police want to speak to the driver - or witnesses to the crash at the junction of Bell Road and Avenue of Remembrance, Sittingbourne.

If you saw the driver of the black Ford Ka at this time, or can give other details, contact PC Kara Mall at Sittingbourne police station on 01622 690690 or call Kent Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
