Boy, 15, quizzed over Ramsgate 'kidnap'

Three suspects - including a teenage boy - were arrested after armed police swooped on a flat, it was revealed today.

Officers from Kent Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident in Ramsgate which sparked yesterday.

Police were called out at 9.40am to reports of a 32-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman being robbed.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested outside the flat shortly after police were notified.

He is being quizzed on suspicion of robbery and kidnap.

Two men were arrested later on Bakers Playing Field, Ramsgate.

One, aged 23, on suspicion of aggravated burglary and the other, aged 21, on suspicion of theft.

The woman suffered minor injuries in the incident which did not require medical treatment.
