A 12-year-old boy was given oxygen by firefighters after a fire in the kitchen of his Dover home.

The alarm was raised on Friday evening when smoke filled the kitchen of a house at Douglas Road. A pizza was cooking in the oven, but the plastic wrapping had not been removed.
