Kent's bridal industry left in tatters as restrictions devastate plans and livelihoods

A Kent couple have managed to re-arrange their wedding in two days so that more than 15 people can attend the special day.

Lauren Baker spoke to KMTV about how the government's new restrictions to limit wedding guests from 30 to 15 from Monday encouraged her to bring her wedding forward to partner Oliver.

But the bride-to-be has hit out over the fact weddings are being restricted, but yet people can still visit pubs and restaurants.

It comes as a business owner says the wedding industry has been "forgotten" during the pandemic.
