A BRIEFCASE containing documents and keys was stolen from a van parked in The Lakes, Leybourne, near West Malling, on Saturday 9.30am and 2pm.

The thieves forced the lock on the vehicle to gain access.

Police are also appealing for information after offenders broke into a green Vauxhall Astra, parked in Maidstone Road, Nettlestead, near Maidstone between 9pm and 10pm last Friday.

Thieves smashed a window on the vehicle and took clothing, money and a mobile phone.
