Brother and sister deny historic serious sex offences

A brother and sister have denied a string of serious sex offences dating back almost 40 years.

Alan Jackson, 66, of Clyde Street, Sheerness, and Cinthia Dungey, 60, of Hollybank Hill, Sittingbourne, both pleaded not guilty to three charges of indecent assault.

Jackson also denied a further charge of rape, three of indecent assault, four of indecency with a child, and four of a serious sexual nature.

Dungey also pleaded not guilty to a serious sexual offence during the hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.

The pair were released on bail by Judge Philip Statman until the start of their trial on April 29.
