Can you help find missing man?

ALFRED EDGLEY: said he was going for a walk

POLICE have renewed an appeal to the public for help in finding an 88-year-old man who has not been seen since Saturday, November 15.

Alfred Edgley, of Childs Crescent, Swanscombe, near Dartford, left his home after telling his wife he was going for a walk.

Later the same day he was seen by a neighbour walking from Swanscombe in the direction of Bluewater and pushing a wheelbarrow. It is believed he may have been going to a local farm shop.

Mr Edgley suffers from Alzheimers and although he has been known to go missing before he has usually been found within hours of his disappearance.

Insp Peter Dale said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Alfred and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him since Saturday morning or has any information on his whereabouts. We would urge people in the Swanscombe area to check gardens, sheds or outbuildings for any indication that someone may have taken shelter there."

Mr Edgley is around 5ft 7ins tall, small build, with receding grey hair. He was wearing a jumper and trousers and walks with a slight limp.
