Fourteen pupils were
injured - four seriously - after part of Minster College
on Sheppey collapsed.

Around 220 year nine pupils were sitting an exam when a
100ft section of heating duct in a sports hall caved in.

Emergency services were called just before 9.20am Tuesday.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said four
teenagers suffered serious neck, head and back injuries, although
the injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Others suffered more minor injuries and a small number were
treated at the scene for shock.

There are 1,471 pupils at the school aged 13
to 18 years old at the college which is on Minster Road,
Minster.
