Chinese woman's brothels case adjourned

THE case of a woman charged with trafficking people for prostitution has been adjourned.

Hai Huong Truong, 25, of New Romney, faces five charges under the Sex Offences Act. The charges relate to controlling prostitutes in brothels in Folkestone, Canterbury and Maidstone.

She is also charged with managing three brothels in Folkestone.

Truong was not at Folkestone magistrates court today when her case was adjourned.

She will appear again on Thursday, March 30 at Folkestone.
