The Lord Mayor of Canterbury is to join Wincheap Walking Bus on the stroll to school.

Cllr Carolyn Parry is a supporter of the KM Walking Bus because it lets parents share the task of taking children to school on different days and is good for the environment and health of those involved.

To encourage extra families to join the scheme Active Life, which runs Kingsmead, Herons and Whitstable pools, as well the Pier Pavilion Sports Centre, is providing free child entry vouchers to reward families.
