POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing 64-year-old man.

Alan Clark, of Kingfisher Drive, Greenhithe, near Dartford, was last seen yesterday morning walking his pet poodle. Later that morning he was seen in London Road.

Police say there was an unconfirmed sighting at around 6.30pm yesterday evening at Ingress Park.

The RNLI in Gravesend undertook a shoreline search between Swanscombe Marshes and Greenhithe for about two hours.
