A YOUNG man and woman were injured when their car crashed on Blue Bell Hill, near Maidstone. It is believed that the woman was thrown from the car as it overturned and landed on its roof.

Both patients, believed to be in their 20s and from Maidstone, were taken to Maidstone Hospital. They are reported to be in a stable condition.

The single-vehicle accident happened at about 1.40pm on Sunday. Police closed off the carriageway to carry out an investigation into what caused the crash.
