Traffic on the London-bound carriageway of the Thanet Way was delayed this morning by an accident.

A van and car collided at the junction with Pilgrims Lane, Whitstable, at about 7.40am.

Vehicles were tailed back for about a mile.

No-one is thought to have been seriously injured.
