MEMBERS of the Conservative Party begin casting their votes in the leadership election today.

To a degree it is youth versus experience as David Cameron and David Davis battle it out for the job. The winner of the contest will be announced on Tuesday, December 6.

Meanwhile, Mr Davis is making a whistle stop tour of the county today.

He was meeting Conservatives at County Hall in Maidstone and is due to speak at Darwin College at the University of Kent at Canterbury this evening.
