The first ever Zoo Thousand festival was beset by problems.

The three-day music festival at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park suffered act cancellations, health and safety problems and organisational chaos that left many fans disgruntled.

Bass player for Saturday’s headliners The Cribs, Gary Jarman, said there was nothing that would have stopped the band playing for the fans.
