HUSBAND and wife duo Chris and Jenny Gordon stole the show at the West Street Tickham meeting at Detling on Sunday.

On going described as good to soft, Jenny won two consecutive races, the Ladies Confined on Quarrymount and then the four miles Kent Grand National on her old favourite, Sheriff’s Friends, who overhauled the favourite Mr Snowman in the last few strides to win by a neck.

Husband Chris then sailed home on Sargasso Sea in the Mens Confined to win by a distance in the fastest time of the day.
