A man suffered serious injuries when his car was involved in a crash with a lorry in Rainham.

Firefighters were called to the scene to cut the victim out of his vehicle after the collision, which happened just before 6.25am Monday in Otterham Quay Lane.

He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital. Fire crews were at the scene for around an hour.
