A COLLISION between two cars today in Lower Road, Maidstone, at the junction with Dean Street, Tovil, near Maidstone, caused traffic hold-ups.

The driver of one of the vehicles was treated for minor injuries at Maidstone Hospital. There were no other reported injuries.

Police were called at around 8.20am and closed part of the road for about an hour while the two vehicles, a Fiat and a Ford Fiesta, were recovered.
