Fire crews had to help drivers who were still getting stuck in flood water early on Wednesday morning.

Drivers trying to navigate Lees Road, Yalding, became stuck in four feet of water.

The Environment Agency had issued flood warnings for the River Medway between Yalding and Allington last night.

But a spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said flooding-related calls had dropped since Tuesday afternoon.
