Drugs factory found in police swoop

THREE people have been arrested in Cranbrook after drug-manufacturing equipment was found at a farm. Police raided the building as part of Operation Voyager, an initiative targeting drug dealers which was launched in mid-November.

Two women, aged 39 and 74, both from Cranbrook, and a 34-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells, were arrested. They have been bailed until January 31 while investigations continue.

Sgt Mark Wells, from Cranbrook police, said that the force was intent on causing as much disruption as possible to people manufacturing drugs. "We are committed to drive down drug-related crime in this area," he stressed.
