POLICE say eight people were taken to hospital after two cars were in collision in Manston Court Road, Manston, on Sunday afternoon.

All of the casualties were taken to the QEQM hospital in Margate with minor injuries.

The crash happened near the junction with Preston Road at about 2.30pm.

The road was blocked and traffic diverted until around 4.10pm by which time the cars had been recovered.
