An electrical fault may be the reason why a workshop went up in smoke first thing this morning.

Firefighters from Medway were called at 9am to the address in Eden Avenue, Walderslade.

Crews tackled the blaze for an hour using two appliances and breathing apparatus.

An investigation is underway.
