Two goats at Kent Life named Vuvu and Zela

Two noisy new arrivals at a farm park in Kent have been named after vuvuzelas - because they bleat so loud.

The two goats are now called Vuva and Zela in honours of the deafening South African horns causing a racket at the World Cup.

Staff and visitors at Kent Life near Maidstone had been given such a headache from their bleating they had to move the billy goats gruff.

Born just eight weeks ago, the goat kids were living close to the office in nursery paddock so staff could keep an eye on their progress.

John Jordan, director at Kent Life, said: "We have been breeding goats at the farm for more than 20 years but never have we had a pair quite so noisy.

"We suspect that they are getting into the World Cup spirit but unfortunately, unlike the BBC coverage of the World Cup, we don't have a red button to drown out the sound when we want to!"
