Former world darts champion Steve Beaton popped to Herne Bay on Thursday for the official opening of a new darts shop.

The shop – recently taken over by Sylvia and Martin Sims – was packed with fans eager to cross arrows with the darting legend.

The shop specialises in darts equipment, clothing embroidery and trophy engraving.
