Face of burglary suspect

Do you recognise this man?

POLICE have released this image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a house burglary.

The man went to the house in Hadlow Park, Hadlow, and said he was a book collector and asked whether the elderly residents had any books for sale.

After he left the house they foudn that two gold brooches were missing.

The offender is described as white, aged between 40 and 45, 5ft 10ins tall, with brown hair. He was well built and had several teeth missing.

He was wearing a long-sleeved green shirt, dark trousers and shoes. It is thought he was driving an old-style, dark-coloured Volvo.

Anyone with information about this incident, which took place between 12.20pm and 1.10pm on September 7.
