THIS is a likeness of a man Kent Police would like to question following the attempted abduction of a teenage girl.

The man, thought to be in his 40s, pounced when he saw the 17-year-old girl walking along North Dane Way, Lordswood, Chatham, at about 4.30pm on Wednesday, June 22.

He ran up behind the young woman who was wearing a bikini top and a short white skirt and grabbed her. He then held a knife to her neck before demanding that she followed him.

She managed to struggle free and dashed to a nearby car and alerted the driver before the offender made off.
