Families can have their face and hands painted, buy gifts and make crafts at a fun day to celebrate Parents Week.

On Friday, October 19, the All Saints Sure Start Children’s Centre in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, will throw open its doors in to parents and carers.

The event has been organised by the centre’s five parent representatives to raise money for the centre and promote the existing services available at the centre.

Donations of clothes and bric-a-brac items are also being sought to sell on the day. Activities include reflexology taster sessions, henna hand art, face painting, and art and craft sessions. There will also be refreshments, a bric-a-brac stall and information stands.

The event takes place from 10am to 2pm. For more information please telephone Jo at the Children’s Centre on 01634 338833.
