A 33-year-old man denied killing his baby daughter or injuring her when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.

Barry Wood, of Park Cottages, Hawkhurst, pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Olivia Wood, who was three-months-old, on January 30 last year, and inflicting grievous bodily harm between January 1 and 30.

Wood is due to stand trial on November 14. Bail was continued.

The baby died at an address in St Benets Way, Tenterden, on January 1 last year.
